More than 800 guests and celebrities gathered at Pier 60 for the Family Equality Council’s Eighth Annual Night at the Pier, honoring Edie Windsor lawyer Roberta Kaplan, writer Dan Bucatinsky and FEC Executive Director Jennifer Chrisler.

India’s government issued a ruling that forbids foreign same-sex couples couples who are looking to start a family from accessing the country’s popular surrogate program.

Although Colorado Springs received a failing grade on HRC’s Municipal Equality Index for LGBT inclusion, many community organizations are working hard to make the area a safer and more welcoming place.

Same-sex couples can start applying for marriage licenses Wednesday in Washington.
